Understand Adhesive Models and Performance: Different models of hot melt adhesives have varying opening, curing, and cooling times. These times can also change with temperature variations in different regions. Ensure that the entire bonding process occurs while the adhesive is in its molten state.
Avoid Open Flames: Hot melt adhesives should not be heated directly with an open flame. Use a spacer set with oil baths or a sealed electric heating plate. Maintain the adhesive temperature strictly within the recommended range and avoid arbitrary changes.
Prevent Mixing Issues: Do not mix solid glue blocks directly in the glue-coated work box. This can cause uneven heating, poor liquidity, or incomplete melting, leading to uneven application or bonding difficulties that affect quality.
Manage Glue Quantity: Use an appropriate amount of glue in the dispensing head. Avoid using too much, as repeated melting can cause deterioration, aging, and reduced viscosity, affecting adhesion. Conversely, avoid using too little glue, which can delay melting and disrupt production.
Regular Maintenance: Clean the dispensing head, syringe, or pressure barrel regularly to ensure internal cleanliness. Prevent the accumulation of impurities or excess glue, which can affect temperature control accuracy. Regularly check and maintain the system to ensure optimal performance.

What are the precautions for the Hot Melt Glue Dispensing Machine?
Hot-melt glue dispenser uses the characteristics of solid-state hot-melt glue to heat into the molten state and then solidify when exposed to the cold surface of the air. When using hot melt adhesive dispensers, we must understand and master the various models of hot melt adhesives and different technical performance parameters.
Different models of hot melt adhesives have a different opening, curing, and cooling time. The entire dispensing process must be completed within the opening time of the hot melt adhesive. The difference from an ordinary dispenser is that it has an additional heating device, which effectively ensures the smoothness of the glue and enables normal production.

Operation of Hot Melt Dispenser
MESA melters operate in the following modes:
Automatic Scan—The melter automatically checks and displays the current temperatures of the tank, hoses, and applicators to ensure they are within their predefined temperature range. By default, the melter is always in automatic scan mode unless it is set to another operating mode.
Standby—In standby mode, the temperatures of the tank, hoses, and applicators are reduced from their operating temperature (referred to as the set-point temperature) by a preset number of degrees.
Setup—Setup mode is used to configure melter control options and features, as well as to review stored operating data. To prevent unauthorized changes to the melter’s configuration, it can be password-protected.
Fault—In fault mode, the melter alerts the operator when an abnormal event occurs.
Why the Hot Melt Glue Machine Adopts the Atomization (Spiral) Spraying Method
Some products in the market are relatively large in size and require spraying over a large area. To conserve glue usage without compromising the product's effectiveness, hot melt glue machine manufacturers have introduced an atomized glue dispensing method, also known as spiral glue. What are the advantages of using this method?
The hot melt glue spraying machine extensively uses this method to reduce glue consumption. For example, a mattress requires glue to be sprayed across its entire surface. If the conventional method were used, a significant amount of glue would be needed. In contrast, the atomized glue method creates very thin, web-like glue threads that save a substantial amount of glue. You might wonder if this reduced amount of glue affects the adhesive strength, but it does not. The pressure-sensitive adhesive used on mattresses works best with a lighter, thinner application, and this method does not impact the bonding strength of the fabric.
The hot melt glue spraying machine’s atomized glue delivery method can be manual or automatic. In manual mode, the operator simply holds the nozzle and sweeps it over the fabric. In automatic mode, the machine operates with an XY axis system. Regardless of whether the method is manual or automatic, the principle of spraying glue remains the same.
